Group Venue

Mountain Lake Cottages is a lakeside retreat destination in Hendersonville, NC. Our motto is “Feels like Camp” just with all modern amenities. Wake up to a quiet, peaceful morning with a gorgeous mist over the lake and take in the fresh air. There is a common area in the middle with a fire pit, hammock, grill, picnic tables and chairs, a large dock with more seating, a lake to fish and swim in, or you can take out one of our canoes, paddle boards or tubes and enjoy the lake that way.  Or, take a 1.6 mile serene walk around the lake or just sit on the porch and relaxand unwind.

We offer retreat accommodations for groups of up to 36 people or 15 couples. We also have 5 other houses around the lake for additional people.​

As the organizer of a Ladies Retreat it is always a challenge to find a place that offers individual privacy as well as space for group interaction. Mountain Lake Cottages is just that place. The main house is large enough to gather for group lessons, meals and games and we easily accommodated 25 ladies inside the house. There is also plenty of room outside to cookout or simply chat and laugh on the big front porch. The Camp Suites were the perfect place for quiet time and the main house was a great place for the organizers to be able to stay and plan for the next day. Beyond all of the convenience is the beautiful location overlooking the lake and the responsiveness of the management. Thanks Mountain Lake Cottages, we will be back... again and again!
