Things To Do
On our property you can go for lovely walks around the lake, hike in the adjacent woods or fish to your heart’s content. We also have a fun paddleboat and canoe for guests and a variety of outdoor seating, perfect for relaxing with a good book or soaking up the glorious mountain sun.

If you prefer, there are also a wonderful variety of mountain activities here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

NATURAL WONDERS:

Pisgah National Forest – The first National Forest established in the United States. Great hiking trails.

There are a great many courses in Western North Carolina that challenge the confidence and spirit of the greatest players. The mountains not only provide a challenge on the course, but also create a scenic route between Mountain Lake Inn and the course. One of our popular courses is Etowah Valley

The Western North Carolina mountains are well-known for a deep heritage that carries forward traditional arts and crafts of a rather wide variety. One of our favorite places to recommend is the Blue Ridge Parkway’s Folk Art Center.
