Comfortable chairs on the large covered front porch are there to enjoy the view with a lazy morning cup of coffee or a magnificent sunset with a glass of wine. Take a 1.6 mile leisurely walk around the lake and feed the ducks or just listen to nature.
Only 1.6 miles from downtown where you will find fabulous local restaurants and antique stores in our little historic town. Take a trip to the DuPont State Forest where you can take a number of hikes to various waterfalls and see where the "Hunger Games" was filmed. The Biltmore estate, Chimney rock, Looking glass falls, Pisgah National forest, the Parkway, Flat Rock Playhouse and the Carl Sandburg home are all 30 minutes or less from here.
