Welcome to Mountain Lake Inn!

Your gracious hosts, AJ and Todd Leoni, look forward to sharing their own personal haven with you. This is a place where you can come to relax and find peace in today’s hectic world.

The main house serves as the private residence of the Leoni family. The estate goes on to boast a lovely gathering of eleven one-bedroom cottages, circa 1920.

Our pleasing cottages look out on beautiful Lake Osceola.  The lake presents 1.6 miles of shoreline to explore. We encourage guests to use our canoe and paddleboat to enjoy the water.  Fishing is permitted with a license. If boating and fishing aren’t your desire, rise early in the morning and let the mist on the lake take your breath away, or find an unfrequented place to sit, read and enjoy the quiet. (For info on a fishing license, please click here: www.ncwildlife.org)

Being only minutes from Main Street in Hendersonville you will be able to take advantage of all this charming town has to offer.  Enjoy browsing our boutiques, antiquing or spend an evening on Main being entertained by live music at one of the many street dances. Day excursions to Brevard’s many waterfall trails and Asheville’s eclectic interests are a must. Check out our “things to do” page for many links to surrounding sites and activities.

SPRING REPORT: We are delighted to welcome Spring - one of our most beautiful seasons here at Mountain Lake Cottages! The temperature is perfect - in the 50s at night and 70s during the day. Dogwood and Rebud trees are in bloom, and the Daffodils and Azaleas are gorgeous.

Here are some fun things coming up this month: April 4-22, the Flat Rock Playhouse thrills theater buffs with My Favorite Things: The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein. April 6-8 you can catch the Daniel Nelson Classic Barrel Racing Horse Show in Fletcher. Fun for the whole family, and especially the kids, will be offered on April 7 at the Annual Jackson Park Easter Egg Hunt in Hendersonville - music, prizes, Easter Bunny & food. For those who have green thumbs or just like to look, check out the Festival of Flowers at the Biltmore Estate, April 7 - May 20. On April 14, music lovers will enjoy a performance of the Asheville Symphony live at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, and on April 22 the Hendersonville Chamber Music Series presents the Kontras String Quartet performing at the First Congregational Church. And don’t miss the Spring Festival at the historic Johnson Farm on April 28th - featuring food, entertainment, arts & crafts, and wagon & tractor rides.

And of course, no trip here would be complete without a visit to some of our favorite restaurants. We just love West First Wood Fired Pizza, and The Mountain Deli offering hot carved sandwiches and homecooked soups daily. For sushi lovers, We always enjoy Champa Sushi & Thai, as well as Umi Sushi. There are so many good restaurants here, we could go on forever...

Come visit us, there's just so much here to see and do!
